American Heart Month

February is American Heart Month, an opportune time to educate Floridians about the impact that smoking and secondhand smoke can have on your heart health. Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the U.S. Tobacco use is a major cause of heart disease. Each year, more than 128,000 people in the U.S. die from smoking-related heart disease and 46,000 die from SHS-related heart disease.
